Comments Available

Comments are now available for addition to each recipe. You don't need to login to anything to leave comments, I will just approve them as needed. On a different note, I have noticed a bug when searching recipes. If you search for a two word item or material, you will get duplicate results. I can't, for the life of me, figure out where the problem is so for now it just has to be that way.

Edit Recipes Now Available

You are now able to edit any recipe. On the detailed item page, you can click the 'edit recipe' button to bring up a lightbox and form to update the recipe. Once submitted, I will review the edited recipe with the orginal and make changes as needed. The only bug I've run across is not being able to use the 'back' button once you've edited a recipe and closed the lightbox (you will just need to use the navigation menu instead). It also appears I need to work on making the main page a bit nice with all the updates I've kept on here!

Detailed Item Information

I have added an item page for each item listed in the database. Clicking on the item name will take you to a separate page givng you detailed information on the item along with other sortable recipes the item is used in (if any). I am working on the option to edit an item as well as submit comments for the item. I will also be adding a show/hide feature for the 'used in' and 'comments' section of the item page. The last project will hopefully involve linking each material on its own page as well.

Database Migration Complete

I have completed the migration process to the newly designed table. You won't notice a difference with the layout of the recipes, however, I will be adding more functionality in time. The database update was so I could make these extra updates in the future and be able to cross-reference items and materials. The search at the top still works, but references the old database until I update the code for that as well.

New Submit Recipe Form Added

I have added the new form to submit recipes. It currently submits to the new table that was modified, but the current recipes displayed are from the old table. I am working on updating the views for the recipes so they will work with the new table. Eventually the form will be on it's own page as soon as I figure out a good place to put the 'submit a recipe' link!

phpBB Forum Added

A simple phpBB forum has been added to the site. I felt lonely with the updates so I decided a forum would make me feel a bit more...at home. Register if you like, you can post updates to recipes, complain about anything you like or do whatever. Just keep it respectful please!
